In Season 2, Episode 10 of Star Trek: Picard, a massive spike of neutrino emissions threatens a galactic event in which millions will die. Q is the locator, emitter, and representative of a multitude of different events, some small and some not, that try one’s character and soul and are all connected, leading to a well-fought battle in which everyone is a light. If ever one was confused about one’s purpose on Earth or in any existence, then it is to deeply face one’s self to be a light like Picard, who becomes free of the past, and like Jurati, who becomes free to be her expansive self as the Borg Queen, and to know that one is part of the community of light of which all always was and always will be.
